Case History 6 Catarrh, Cough, Fatigue

Joe reported that since having a very nasty virus 9 months earlier, his nose had been constantly blocked , and he had a troublesome. extremely irritating cough.

On testing he reacted to all cows milk products, apples, and calcium proprianate [E282], a preservative found in many breads, cakes, muffins, crumpets, tortilla wraps and other baked goods. As requested, he had brought his usual bread with him, and it contained calcium proprianate.

After one week on the suggested diet, Joe's symptoms had improved only slightly , so he took up my offer of a quick retest...offered to all clients who have seen little improvement after one week. He was then reacting to goats and sheeps milks cheeses and yogurts. I had warned him that this might be the case, as he did not regularly eat these things. [The Dietx machine cannot pick up an intolerance to a food that has not been consumed ever or for a long time] Luckily after changing his milk substitute to soya or rice milk, and stopping all animal milk products, Joe's catarrh and troublesome cough had completely disappeared. After 3 months exclusion, he was able to eat these foods again, but was careful following my guidelines, not to eat them too frequently.
